Pre-Purchase Condition Surveys
This involves thorough visual inspection of ship's Hull, Deck Areas, Machinery, Cargo spaces, Ballast tanks, Certification and any area of special interest to the buyer. In view of sophisticated and specialized equipment and processes on board it requires detailed knowledge of ship's structure and machinery. All Surveysors at MARiTECH COMMERCIAL, Inc. have had a long and varied experience on Board sea going ships as Masters or Chief Engineers and understand the intricacies involved.
Our detailed reports includes:
•Hold Cleaning:Recommending procedures to ship crews and if deficient of time and resources to shore crews on proper techniques to expedite hold cleaning from various bulk commodities to grain and Green Delayed Calcined and non-calcined petroleum Coke, and vice versa.
•Hatch Cover Water-Ingress:Inspection of water-tightness of cargo hold hatch covers using Ultrasonic Bulk Generator and Portascanner and/or Hose tests. |
